Building, subdividing or developing? Let Opal Water Management guide you through the Section 73 process. Send us your project details and plans to get started.
Over 20 years' experience and more than 5,000 Sydney Water Section 73 applications managed.
A Section 73 Compliance Certificate is a mandatory statutory document issued by Sydney Water confirming that a land subdivision, dual occupancy, or commercial development has adequate water and wastewater infrastructure.
Without a Section 73 Certificate, local councils will not register linen plans or release final subdivision certificates, and principal certifiers cannot issue final occupation certificates.
Opal Water Management manages the entire Section 73 lifecycle: from applying for the initial Notice of Requirements (NOR), managing Developer Works Agreements, to final asset inspection and clearance issuance. Our dual identity alongside GHP Plumbing & Civil ensures engineering feasibility from day one.
